Connor is 4 years old!

 It is so fun having a 4 year old! He really is the best! I feel like Connor has really graduated from being a toddler and is just a kid now. I love how much he talks and we can have conversations! Connor goes to school and is becoming more independent everyday.

One day I'll edit these up a little but for now at least I'll have them on the blog. If you look close you can see we gave Connor the remote shutter release so he would go along with taking some pictures. Technically that means Connor was our photographer! haha

Liam Comes Home to 1 Month Old (June-July)

 Get ready for some Pictures! I'm posting this while both my boys are napping! I'm so proud!

Bringing Liam home (June 29) was one of the happiest days ever! I couldn't have expected a better reaction from Connor! He loved meeting his little brother!

Blood sugar was a little low the first night. I tried to go to every other feeding while I pumped and slept in between to recover from my c section.

Liam's Birth Story

 I got up early Sunday morning to pee. I still felt a bit wet a little after wiping and thought it was just discharge but wasn't sure so I went back to bed but took a screen shot of my phone just in case to remember the time. I didn’t sleep.

Dixon Family Update

 I really can’t believe that it has already been six months since we moved to New Jersey and Connor turned 3! It feels like just yesterday. Gratefully even though I’ve technically been pregnant since the end of October it has seemed to go by faster than Connor’s pregnancy. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I can’t just sit in bed or on the couch all day like I did last time. I was really nervous about how I would be able to handle a pregnancy with a toddler but it turns out he is the highlight of most my days. I have a reason to get up and do things. I can’t help but smile and laugh with him everyday! He is definitely a light in my life even if he is also a punk sometimes.

Dixon Thanksgiving - Christmas

 For Thanksgiving we had Logan's sisters Tricia and Dana over. We went from 3 in our house to 13! So many littles running around! The oldest is 5 and youngest was 12 months. Dana and I were also both pregnant.

Ie Island/Marriage Retreat

For 3 days and 2 nights we got to go off to Ie (pronounced E-eh) Island for a marriage retreat! It was a lot of fun and the only thing we had to pay for was babysitting. We did one of these about 3 years ago and it was almost all classes but a pretty hotel. This time we only had 4 hours of classes over 3 days and the rest of the time it was scheduled outings to explore the island or free time! As a military family it can be hard sometimes because of how often we are apart so getting experiences like this is a big deal and so fun!

Here we are about to get on the ferry. Do you guys like my new glasses? I do! When I get up early it is better sometimes for me to wait to put my contacts in so I did it on the ferry.

Naha Dragon Boat Races and Children's Day

I finally made it down to the Dragon boat races! First year I was pregnant and the other years I was too intimidated to going with Connor alone but finally this year I knew it was my last chance so we just went! It is one of the biggest festivals in Okinawa on Children's Day, one of the biggest holidays of the year in Japan! I was feeling a little anxious to go but it ended up being just fine. We went in the morning before it was too crazy.

I get to pick Terri and Mark up from the airport tonight and be tour guide again! Yay! I'm excited for all the fun! But that does mean I probably won't be posting again until after they leave on the 4th. So here is a picture post to hold you over.

Sunday post nap snuggles! He fell back asleep after I got him up and it was so great! He never does this anymore so I just soaked it up! I love my baby! I actually dozed off a bit too. It was lovely. 

Loganna 7 Year Anniversary

We really didn't do much this year to celebrate. Just a normal date night but it was still fun. 

In the last 7 years together we both graduated from BYU, moved 4 times, visited 24 countries, and had a baby in Japan. I feel like we accomplished a lot!

Apparently it was our copper anniversary so Logan got me orange and yellow flowers.

Took Connor to the beach this morning. I wanted to find a sea marble. I found none but my neighbor I went with found 4. I found this little water baby and he was pretty cute though.  I don't get much time to look around when I need to keep my head up to watch this cutie.

The Taft's Visit Okinawa

Here is everything we did when the Tafts came to visit! We packed every day from morning till night! We didn't get to do everything but I think they really got a good taste of Okinawa! I tried to sort through all the photos and only use a couple but there is still a lot!
