Plans change and that's ok. So our trip to the airport became a mini trip to Chicago instead. Connor was so good on the trip to and from there sleeping almost the whole time.

We went to the Field Museum and Connor had so much fun seeing everything!! I love the way he says "Ooo!" And then points excitedly at something he finds particularly interesting at the moment. He loved seeing the animals but the building lights and kids were cool too.

Sue the T-Rex. It is the biggest and most complete T-Rex ever found.

I think his favorite part though was pushing the stroller around. A security guard thought it was so funny too along with almost everyone who was nearby. The guard was laughing and saying I needed to post that online!

I really liked the space rocks and Egypt exhibit and I know Katie and Jeff liked the mineral and crystal room.
The next day on our way back we stopped at Ikea. I forgot how much fun places like that are.
Of all the things in the kid area of the store the rocking moose was his favorite! He b lined right to it and never touched anything else. The cutest part was watching him try and rock it. He knew it moved but he was too spastic jerking forward and back to get a nice rock going on. Haha.
I don't know how he knew but every time we walked by a stuffed animal bin Connor had to see what was inside. He never really wanted anything else (except the lamps). Somehow he just knew they were kid things and for him. I love how Connor is starting to learn he is a little kid. First he realized the he was just like the other little people his size and now he can tell when things are toys.
After shopping we all got cinnamon rolls and headed back to Katie and Jeff's.
I think Katie has more pictures of the trip so you will have to wait until she gets them up.
As for my new plans, my ticket is on hold. I'll let you all know what I decide. When that happens:)
