Happy Holidays

Thursday, February 23, 2012
Here is the Christmas card I made for us this year! Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

November in Albuquerque

It was great to get to spend some time with my family especially during the Holidays! They really know how to throw a party! The day before my birthday Logan and me were out on a date and when we got home, my parent's whole downstairs had been turned into a Totoro forest including two Totoro piñatas!
What is a Totoro, you may ask? Well, it is a fictional forest spirit. When I was a little girl one of my favorite movies was My Neighbor Totoro by Hayao Miyazaki- great movie!
Earlier that week, my sister asked what kind of theme I wanted for my party and I said bamboo. She took it one more step and made it a Totoro Party! What a great idea!

For lunch we had sukiyaki and sushi. Then we also made dessert sushi with rice crispies, fruit leather and sweedish fish! They were great too!

After dinner we had my cousins come over to help us with the Totoro piñata! Kara helped by kicking it too - so cute! I was sad to break it but thinking ahead, my family made two of them so I still got to keep one! It was a great birthday!

After everyone went, it was my turn! Those kids know how to spin you!

Thanks to my family for a great birthday! I am a lucky girl!

Also, before we left to go to Washington for Christmas, we had our first annual Don and Grace Reeves Christmas Party! Mom made us some great costumes for the Nativity and Ashley and Allison helped me make some yummy cookies for dessert!

Europe!!!

Wednesday, February 22, 2012
So I never thought it would happen but Logan and me got the chance to go to EUROPE! It was amazing and we had a blast! I'm sad that I can't write down everything we did and saw in this blog but hopefully I can get most of it in! I'm so sorry this is the longest post ever so if you don't want to read it all, just look at the pictures. I won't be offended!

The main places we visited were of course Brussels, Belgium where Logan's sister, brother-in-law and niece and nephew live right now, then Madrid, Spain; Paris, France and Normandy, and then we drove through the Netherlands to Aachen, Germany.

Albuquerque at the end of October

Tuesday, February 14, 2012
It was great to get some time to spend with my family with no more stress of moving hanging over us. We had some fun before heading off on our big trip! We had a picnic when we went out to my father's branch and then of course played with Kara Anne a ton! She has so much personality! We were also there for Halloween and helped to pass out candy.

Little Lady Bug for Halloween

The only downside was that the first night we were there, a drunk driver hit my mom's car and ours. At least the damage was not too bad on ours but my mother's was hit front on and both front parts of the cars were unrecognizable.

Moving from Provo, UT

Monday, February 13, 2012
We have officially moved away from Provo, UT. I miss it sometimes but we will always remember fondly the place where Logan and me met and started our life out together. Here are some pictures of our last days at work, packing and our last day there.

Here is our old couch cushion that Logan fixed by sewing up a open seam!

So After packing for so many hours you start to go a little crazy! Here are some pics to show you some examples of just what I mean!

The car with our trailer and all loaded up!

Our last night there we hung out with our good friends the Clarks! We went out to Demae our favorite sushi place. Too bad for the Clarks, they didn't really like it but it made us happy! In the pictures we too when we got back, you can tell that everything is packed up and gone.

So after Jenna and Brett left, we were going to pull out the blow up mattress and try to get some sleep but both of us were anxious to get on our way so we just left! Haha. It was so naughty! We drove all night and got to Albuquerque with all our stuff around 9am on the 29th the next day. Then we took some much needed naps.
