Christmas 2020

Christmas Eve family photo in our temporary bungalow home.

The front room closet has been taken over! It was definitely interesting having a big holiday basically in a hotel.

Enchiladas for dinner.

The boys opening up Christmas Eve pajamas. The ripped open the package like wild animals eating a carcass.

Reindeer bath bomb and clean little boys in new PJs.

We had the boys watch the Christ Child and then put Liam to bed. Connor got to stay up with us for a little bit to enjoy the candles, drink hot cocoa and read Luke 2.

Ready for the next morning!

Connor slept in bed with me so we could set up stockings in the other room. He wiggled and turned all night long but and at 7:30 he declared it was time to open presents! I was so tired! This kid was up so much of the night I think because he was too excited for Christmas.

Liam and Connor thought the kitchen was so fun but Liam really loved it! He played at it for at least 20 minutes before he even touched his stocking.

Not pictured. Logan got a new laptop, airpods and socks for Christmas. I have my new camera (coming in the mail) and I got a scarf. Sounds boring but we are both very happy!

When we did get Liam to check something else out I gave him his stocking and he dumped it out in one move to the floor and was back to the play kitchen. haha

I was excited for this gift. Giant snakes!!

Other than the kitchen Liam loved the Superwings from Grandma!

Opening Gifts from Shelby who had our family this year!

Hey, I've seen this before...he was happy to see an old friend he LOVED in Albuquerque.

I also got the boys a pretend waffle making kit for the play kitchen.

Liam smiling at his daddy.

Our mess!

Super fun coloring mat!

Christmas day dinner was a combination of Logan's and our families traditions. Ham for us and Lasagna for Logan. Both came from the frozen isle so it was easy for me!

We waited to set up the rocket ship until Shelby was up in the states and it was a BIG hit! We called on facetime to thank her for the fun kid gifts!

Last thing we did was decorate sugar cookies!

For being a Christmas in temporary housing it was pretty fun and I think we still found a way to make it special. We were very lucky a person here donated the tree and all the lights. Funny enough the hardest thing for me to find were stockings! Now we just need to figure out how to get all these new toys to our new house  (and when we can actually move in).
