Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I just have a hard time when Connor or I am sick. It seems to happen a lot around here. Most recently it being Connor that is having a hard time. But before he started feeling really crappy Saturday night, we had some fun. I took Connor to the park Friday afternoon and he was so happy to "gift" me this moss from the playground. After looking at this pic I decided it was time for another haircut.

I think this was his 4th or 5th haircut and the first time I used the clippers on him. I gave him the iPad to watch and it worked out pretty well! Everything was nice and even and perfect for his signature faux hawk.
I thought it was interesting that the top was way more golden and lighter then the back that almost looks light brown. I'm pretty sure he will probably end up having the same color of hair as his father.

It has been forever since we really got out to do anything so I planned a waterfall hike on Saturday! It was really fun! Connor loved it! I brought the carrier for him but he ended up walking almost the whole way to the falls he probably would have walked the whole way back but it was getting close to his nap time and we wanted to get back. Connor was great and stayed on the gravel path and going in the right direction meaning we didn't have to chase after him the whole time so it was actually fun. I'm glad we found a great activity for our whole family!
It was about a 20 minute walk but took us a little longer to get there because Connor kept finding irresistible rocks he had to pick up and throw a little further down the path.
It was so very beautiful! We crossed the river twice. I loved the wood bridge!

Connor had so much fun playing in the shallows! Past my waist the water got REALLY cold so we didn't swim out very far! In the second picture it looks like Logan is baptizing Connor haha.

I know from the pictures above the waterfall doesn't look very big because we are far away but logan walked over closer to it and you can see just how tall it really was! I think if I was able to stand on the water my head wouldn't even come up past the foliage where the rock is exposed.

After that we were pretty far north so we did a little more spontaneous exploring. This lead us to the longest bridge in Okinawa and Kouri Island. As we drove over the bridge we saw the most beautiful water I have ever seen in my life! We were going to get out and explore but Connor fell asleep right before we got there (too much fun at the waterfall) so you just have to see my pictures from the car.
It only took us about 15 minutes to drive around the entire island but you can see the water and bridge below form each side of the island.
There was also an amazing looking beach on either side of the bridge we vowed to come back to!
Yay for great family outings!
