Grandma's bedroom has the coolest treasures! Fans, little white rocks and pictures of babies! At least those were Connor's favorite parts :)
Driving to Bloomfield
Mom's Peach tree so full of peaches it is held up with 2x4s!
Mom and dad pretending to club each other with giant zucchini!
Going through these next set of pictures of the garden and videos had me smiling ear to ear! I think this was my favorite part of the whole trip!
Dad handed a zucchini to Connor and he was so happy carrying it around!
Digging up potatoes with Grandpa was the best! Connor LOVED it!
Connor loved the shovel!
I love how Connor grunts too!
Oooo! Look mom! Baby red potatoes!
This watermelon fell off the vine early. Connor is all about carrying big heavy things around. We took it away for a minute and he just lost it but gave it back and he was happy again!
"Here Connor, let me show you something." Dad said this and Connor quickly and obediently followed him. He has never come for me!
Plowing like a real farmer!
I think Connor wants to be a farmer when he grows up!
I really liked these shots you can see a lot of the garden and in the first one the house too.
Connor decided to keep the last zucchini he helped pick and decided to eat it! I'm not even sure we washed it haha
Karen asked me to get some stuff from Japan for her girls and since she helped pay for it I had a fun time finding things for them!! I showed them all the stuff and even taught them how to use chopsticks! Then we had a great time watching Connor play and chatting with Karen.
Off to great Grandmother's house. Connor helped her pick up all the crab apples.
I tried to get some pictures of Connor with his great grandparents. Sitting still is about as bad as torture for this kid!
And one for me!
Dad's family reunion was going on this same weekend. I helped add our family tree to the poster.
More pictures! This time with great grandpa!
Headed back to Albuquerque. Wow, we saw so much family in two days it just tuckered this little kiddo out!
Leaving the house to go to the airport. Here we got Connor to show off some of his new words Grandma taught him!
On our way, we stopped by Michael and Laura's to see them and the girls!
Look how grown up they are! I have to be honest I'm surprised I'm still taller then both of them!
Mom was awesome to help watch Connor while we checked into our flight! Last sweet, sweaty moments with her grandson for this trip!
It takes a lot to keep a baby happy on the plane. Here is a little wallet Katie put together for me last time we were here in the states! Our first flight out was at 9:40pm and delayed. It is hard to go when you are already tired.
Because our first flight was delayed we literally had to run to the gates of the next two flights and just barely made it onto our connection to Japan. They saw us coming and said "hurry, run, we are closing the doors in just a second!" So glad we made it!
Connor started getting sick the day we left to come home. He didn't feel good and cried a lot. At one point I was walking around the plane holding him because that was the only way he would calm down and sleep a little. I asked Logan how much longer we had and he said 5 hours! It was torture! Finally I got him to sleep and after holding him for about 2 hours was able to lay him down. This was the best part of the whole trip!
In Tokyo. Can you see Mt Fuji too?!
And we made it home!! Connor wasted no time and started playing right away! Logan went into work and then Connor and I took naps that afternoon. Crazy life!
