Spring Flowers

You probably didn't know it but spring is here! At least in Okinawa :) And that means all the flower festivals are going on!

I was trying to be really adventurous and drove Connor and I over an hour away to take pictures with at the Cherry Blossom festival but when I got there I forgot the camera's memory card!! I usually carry an extra one in my camera bag but I just got a new one so I didn't have that either. Sad, but I got a few pics with my phone before Connor was completely done.

I was sad about not getting the pictures I wanted so I got some sakura ice cream and Connor was happy with his box of raisins. It was pretty funny when we got home and Connor was ten times more excited about the laundry basket then the pretty trees.

Yesterday was beautiful!! So we went on a smaller trip to see the Cosmos Fields. Grandma Reeves posted on my Facebook "In our family we call them Grandma flowers, because Grandmother Bloomfield loved them so much." I thought that was awesome!

It was really bright out so we have a lot of squinty faces. But I remembered my camera memory card this time so we got lots of pictures :)

Connor loved the rocks and this wood post he found. I also thought it was so sweet that he kept trying to hold Ely's hand!

Trying to get a good picture of the two of us again. 

Logan said I need to get some actions shots of Connor now to balance all the sweet flower pics. I told him almost all the images were "action" shots because this little boy doesn't stay still for more than an instant! haha
