Honestly he has not gained much weight but he has gotten a lot taller. Connor has learned how to pull up on pretty much anything, he can walk along the couches, and although he has been moving around all over the place he is just learning how to really crawl. He has also learned how to get down after he pulls himself up. I help him with balance but I think he is still a while away from walking unless it is with his walker. He loves using it to cross the room all day long!
Along with pulling up and learning to walk we now have lots and lots of boo boos. He currently has about 4 bruises on his forehead. Poor baby! I try to keep him from really falling but can't save him every time.
Connor has 4 teeth now. Two on top and two on bottom. I have to say there is a huge difference between teething Connor and normal Connor! His top teeth are really far apart right now but I've heard they will get closer when his other teeth come in. Hope so.I think I can really see that he is doing so much better and appears to be happier now that he is on formula. I was skeptical but now that the teething thing has passed I can really see the difference. I like how he has started to cross his ankles when he is laying down.
I love that Connor has really started to love his blankies! Every time he goes to sleep I put one in next to him in the crib. He then rolls his face into it or pulls it up to his face. When I take him out of his zippy (sleep sac), he likes to reach up by his head and grab his blanket and pull it to his mouth. Sometimes when he is getting tired I hand it to him and he likes to use it to rub his eyes.
Connor also really likes pacifiers now. He only gets them in bed. He tends to loose them at night so I put in a few strategically placed replacements for him to find. This morning he found all three! haha
Connor is a great in water. In the bath, I can dump a whole cup of water over his head and he doesn't mind. The best thing is that he loves swimming! I have a floaty and he laughs, kicks and has a great time in the ocean or pool!Along with lots of moving I'm also starting to see how smart he is getting! He remembers things that he didn't used to. Like when he is in his room he always books it over to his sound machine. He loves pushing the buttons to change the sounds. In the living room, he loves to pull off all his books every day. Connor knows that under his high chair is where I keep a thing of wipes and tries to get it every time I take the tray off.
Connor is also learning to problem solve. Not ready for him to learn how to open drawers!
I love how happy this little boy is these days! No more crying going to bed and when he wakes up he likes to kick and flap arms like crazy right after I get him out of his sleep sac! Connor likes to smile at anyone who talks to him at the store and gets really excited when I play with him. He will still go to anyone for a little bit. He still does his whiny thing when he gets frustrated at being in one spot too long or if I don't give him enough attention but it really has been so much better.
Here are my favorite shots! (I edited these)
The pic on the above right shows my view most of the day! Wherever I am is Connor's favorite place. If I am standing near by or sitting on the floor, he comes to crawl up on me.
Look at him learning to stand! All he needs is something to lean on, or to hold one or my fingers.
He started this tongue thing right after his two top teeth came in.
I love all these photos!!
