Baby Connor is 3 months old today so that means it is time for another photo shoot! But first lets look back a little...

Now for some highlights! 

Connor weighs about 12 pounds and is 22.5 inches long and wearing 3 month clothes. He definitely has his mommy's red hair and blue eyes! He hasn't changed as much from one to two months as far as he looks (other then his cheeks) but he has learned SO much and his personality is showing more and more! Still hard sometimes but he can also be so much fun! 

He still has problems with spitting up more than normal (hence the outfit change in the middle). He still hates his car seat. He is good at communicating when he is hungry or tired. 

His favorite things are baths, his floor gym, being up over your shoulder looking out and having mom or dad talk to him. He gives the best smiles! 

He just found his hands! Two days ago he learned how to bring them to his mouth and now he usually has at least 2-3 fingers in his mouth. He is getting good at batting at things, moving his hands where he wants and now he is starting to grab EVERYTHING.

He can roll from his tummy to his back when he wants. He loves being on the floor where he can stretch out and kick. 

When we are out and about I love people commenting that we both have red hair. People say that he is still small, that he has the chubbiest cheeks, is very strong, that he looks like an old man and I hear a lot of people comment on how alert he is, looking around and checking out his world. 

Merry Christmas!

Connor was a happy boy this morning! I have to say he is the best Christmas present ever! Can't believe he will be 3 months old in a few days.

We were ready to open presents but this little guy just couldn't stay up any longer so we let him nap while Logan and I opened our gifts. 

 Apparently Logan was very excited about the food in his stocking. Haha

I was actually surprised that Connor was interested in the gifts when we put them in his lap. He kept trying to grab and bat at the white one and stared at it while it was in his lap.

Looks like some fun things that he will get to explore as he grows. He already really likes the rattle.

Our main gift to Connor for Christmas was a Snuza. You can see it attached to his pants below. It is a breathing monitor. We've actually been using it for a few days now and LOVE it!! It just goes on his tummy and blinks (or ticks if you want) with each breath but if he stops breathing, it vibrates him to get him to start and alarms a sound to alert us. So genius.

I wish I had this since he was born. It would have saved me a lot of sleep and worry. I like how I can put this on him whether he is sleeping on the couch, my lap, the bassinet, our bed or his crib. 

Oh and the best present Logan gave me was tickets for Connor and I to come fly to Albuquerque!!!!! So excited!!! I can't wait to show off my little guy! 

Christmas Eve From Okinawa

This year we celebrated Christmas with our Okinawa Family! Here is the whole crew.

Babies!! It was no pressure knowing that there were other babies, so if mine cried it was no big deal.

It is amazing for me to see how big he is getting! When you see a person everyday it is hard to tell how much they are changing till you look back. I loved my tiny little baby but I also love my little chunker who is much more interactive! Connor now loves to grab the water and the faucet. He looks around and tries to eat the water on his hands. He loves his baths! 

Daily Dose of Baby Connor

We have been kinda sick again this week but when Connor is happy we are getting more and more smiles! This is right after he woke up the other morning. It is hard to be grumpy from him keeping me up all night when you get sweet baby smiles! Now that we are both feeling better I see even more. 

He is doing better with his car seat (sometimes) and is so funny to see his cheeks all squashed! I feel like they are still growing! haha This is after he took a great 3 hour nap in his car seat while I was doing my visiting teaching - huge blessing! The last pic where he had just woken cracks me up! What a chubber!! hahaha

We went to Logan's work Christmas party this weekend. We brought Connor with us because we knew we wouldn't stay long and he had been really fussy the last few days (I figured no one would like to babysit a kid that screams the whole time). We got name tags (based on Christmas themes) at the party and then ate dinner before Connor decided it was time to go. Logan picked out Connor's name tag. I didn't get it at first but it is the kid from Home Alone - one of Logan's favorite Christmas movies.

 I thought I would try to get some classic baby under the tree pics that night but Connor decided it was not his thing so we improvised. His favorite position to be held is over the shoulder and he was pretty happy there.

I think he is just the cutest! Now that he is feeling better we will have to try again.

Thanks G & G Dixon for the sweet baby outfit! I love that Connor is starting to fit in it.
