Liam turned 18 months old last week! We were lucky to get some photos of him today and it snowed for a little while. Liam loves to put rocks and sticks in his mouth and then run away to tease me. As you can see we have traded our green New Jersey for the sagebrush and rocks of New Mexico. Liam was not phased at all by the move and continues to be our silly and opinionated toddler.
Liam has had a burst of language and it is so fun to see him understanding and following directions. He answers questions with “yes” when he wants something and says other cute things like one-two- three, bye bye, and cheese. I’m always impressed with his ability to hold his own with his 5 year old brother. We all agree he looks just like his dad. Liam loves to play and do anything his brother is doing. His favorite foods are meat and fruit and on occasion dum dum suckers. He points to everything he wants or finds interesting. When I ask him where his nose is he always sticks his finder up his nostril. Liam is still allergic to milk and soy but we hope he outgrows them.
Liam has 8 teeth. He weighs about 22 pounds (17th percentile) but his height is in the 52 percentile and we are so proud of him being above average in height considering how short his parents are haha. Liam is a great tag along and usually a happy fun little guy!
I’m excited for Liam to start nursery next week and don’t think he will have any issues at all other than being sad mom and dad will actually leave him this time but once he sees the toys I’m sure he will get over it.

Look mom, a rock - and now I’m going to eat it and run away!

Snow in his hair!

I took some pics in our new backyard and then took him out to the brush next to mom and dads house to show off the new landscape we now live in.

Liam was a fan of all the sticks!

So silly!

Eating a stick and happy about that.

Liam has his tongue out at least a quarter of the time and especially when he is happy!

Cheese!

Another stick! This is the best!

Not used to getting stuck in bushes.

Happy to be running away from mom.
