Dixon Labor Day Weekend

 We got an Airbnb and went to the coast for 3 days! Here are lots of pictures!

It was getting late so Logan took Liam back for dinner and bed and Connor and I rode the ferris wheel.

Pure happiness!

The place we stayed had two tiny rooms so we put Liam's crib on the bed and the other three of us slept in the other room with Connor on the floor in his sleeping bag. I can't wait until we can put the two boys in a bed together and not have to carry around beds for all the kids.

Ready for a new day to play on the beach!

Connor loved the waves, Liam liked the sand (and cried a lot when he got wet, all the boys thought it was fun to dig in the sand. At least everyone found something fun to do.

We went back for lunch and afternoon nap/quiet time. This sand was just from Connor's shorts!

Back to the beach for some more fun!

There was this really weird clear jelly stuff right were the waves hit the sand.

Liam loves a big hole to sit in!


Until a rogue wave comes unexpectedly and floods his beloved hole. He was so sad. Behind you can see how Connor was already sneaking a bucket of water to surprise and throw it on his dad. Connor got his dad real good twice - and I thought it was so funny because he came up with the idea on his own.

Confession there was a bar across the street that played music all night so on the second night Logan and Connor stayed to do the carnival rides and Liam and I drove the hour back home and slept great in our own beds.


Ready for the beach again!

Liam finally got brave and played in the water because it was gentler at low tide.

We let Connor do a few more games and rides.

Connor showing us he was tall enough. The little obstacle course had a turning barroll and I couldn't help but laugh when Connor laid down and it started taking his feet up.

Last day we played at the aquarium!
