Liam 14 months

Monday, August 19, 2019

Aug 1 - Liam has started a little bit of talking but I for sure heard him drop a toy outside and then say "uh oh" all by himself. Aug 2 - We were playing in the morning and Liam says it again when he drops a toy on purpose. It was very cute! Does this count as his first word?!

Aug 13 - I'm pretty sure Liam is saying mama, dada, uh oh and this weekend he said yuck yuck and bye bye.

Aug 10 - Liam has learned how to point with one finger. It is a wonderful communication tool!

Our Sundays have gotten a little more exciting now that Liam is a toddler and always on the go. He is so loud and never stops moving. Just when we got one kid out of that phase we are now starting that over with our second.

I love it when he picks up big things while standing. He looks so big!

Happy boy!

Liam also likes to keep me on my toes by taking his diaper off! Most recently he has figured out how to pull his diaper tabs off through his sleep sack so I've found his diaper around his ankles in bed a few times. I try to put pants on him but hate to fully clothed him when he naps upstairs because it gets so warm but he is leaving me no choice. And he doesn't always get pants during the day because... second child problems.

Liam loves light switches.

Little holes he can stick his finger in.

Holding the lids to his food pouches and putting them back on.

Climbing up on anything he can especially the couch and chairs.

And crawling into things by himself because he can!

Right after he turned 13 months Liam started screaming! About everything! Happy, tired, out of food, all done, and throwing a tantrum - he is screaming to communicate. It is the worst. I get on his case every time and when it gets real bad I pop his mouth. He will stop but not long. Nothing I do seems to have much effect right now but I'm hoping consistency will.

Liam still only has two bottom teeth.

Liam is in size 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers although he is getting close to being moved up to size 4.

Aug 1- Liam can stand up by himself anywhere. He is comfortable with walking about 5 steps at a time but still rather cautious.

Aug 13 - Liam is able to walk the distance of a room and does it spontaneously with no encouraging. He has just decided that it was a good way to get around too.

Between Aug 12-14 Liam transitioned from crawling being the default to trying to walk first. Its so cute seeing this little guy turn into an actual toddler!

Aug 15 - Liam is officially a full time walker!

Aug 13 - Liam weighs about 20.5 pounds.

I know I said I wasn't going to do any more monthly pics but Liam got a new cool haircut and the big boys were gone camping so we went on a little walk and took a few.

^Mom, its really hot and bright out here. Why are we doing this?

And Congrats if you made it to the end of this here are some bonus videos!
